Rachele Grassi

CEO And Secretary General

Rachele has extensive experience in fostering business, institutional networks and promoting Italian companies and bilateral trade abroad. Rachele joined the team in Sydney in 2016 after working at the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Tokyo for 5 years.

Rachele is from Milan and is the first female Secretary General of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Australia. She has been selected as Emerging Leader for the Eu-Australia Leadership Forum 2018-2019, and Finalist as Non-For-Profit Executive of the Year 2020 by CEO Magazine.

Daniel Vucetic

Daniel Vucetic is the Executive Director of Owbiz Corporate Pty Ltd, a unique accountancy firm established in 2001 with a special focus on business advisory in collaboration with other peer professionals to assist emerging businesses. Boasting 29 years experience as a qualified accountant, Daniel has and continues to play a pivotal role in privately held Australian companies seeking to make their mark within their designated industry or as participants in the wider Australian economy. Daniel’s adaptive ability is evident from the diverse client involvement in enterprise which is driven by an innately sincere passion to contribute and educate as he encourages people’s entrepreneurial flair.


Giulia Scataglini

Accounts & Business Services Officer

Giulia started at the Italian Chamber of Commerce in 2016 and operates the administrative, financial, and human resources functions of the Chamber. She assists Italian and Australian companies engaging with the Chamber on a variety of enquiries related to their business and provides extensive trade services support.

Luke Brewer

Project Manager

Luke has been with the Italian Chamber of Commerce since 2017 and manages the Chamber’s extensive events and projects calendar. Luke holds a bachelor degree of International Studies and a Master of International Public Diplomacy from Macquarie University. Luke overseas the major projects and events of the Chamber. Luke's interests include travelling, exploring new cultures and keeping fit. 

Sofia Abruzzese

Junior Analyst

Sofia had a first experience at the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Moscow in 2018. After coming to Australia for a Master in Business, she entered the Chamber of Commerce in Sydney. Here she constantly has the opportunity to discover the different aspects of the relations between two countries and how the mutual collaboration and efforts can prosper in a valuable business growth and expansion.

Marc Salamone

Trade & Events Assistant

Marc is currently studying a Bachelor of Advanced Studies (International and Global Studies) / BA (Italian Studies) at the University of Sydney. Marc’s interests lie in Italian literature, in particular, Italian contemporary literature and will soon start an honours thesis researching the role of language in neo-colonialism. Marc is aspiring to have a career in foreign affairs and diplomacy and has started at the chamber as a Trade and Events Assistant to gain invaluable experience.
