ICCIAUS Partner Prysmian, a global leader in the energy transition and digital transformation, has announced its agreement to acquire Warren & Brown Technologies, the main Australian provider of telecommunication network connectivity products. This strategic acquisition marks a significant milestone for both companies, strengthening Prysmian’s position as a comprehensive solution provider in the connectivity sector.
Warren & Brown Technologies specializes in providing telecommunication network connectivity solutions to telecom operators, particularly in the areas of FTTA, FTTH, and Data Centre applications. With annual revenue of approximately 90 million AUD (€55 million), the company operates three main production sites, two in Australia and one in the Philippines.
The acquisition aligns with Prysmian’s “Connect, to lead” strategy, aimed at establishing the company as a global leader in providing solutions for energy transition and digital transformation. By integrating Warren & Brown’s expertise and resources with Prysmian’s Digital Solutions technologies, the acquisition will enable Prysmian to offer enhanced solutions to its customers, further solidifying its position in the market.
The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions. Once finalized, it is expected to strengthen Prysmian’s capabilities in the telecommunication network connectivity sector, enabling the company to offer a more comprehensive range of solutions to its customers globally.
