The Iconic bets on the benefits of fashion resale

In a world first, Australian fashion retailer THE ICONIC, through a partnership with tech platform AirRobe, will on Wednesday begin offering resale as an optional service at the point of sale.

Resale is a booming category: according to second hand retailer thredUP, the market is predicted to double over the next five years to a value of $US77 billion ($106 billion).

“We want to make buying something second hand as easy and enjoyable as buying brand new.”
