Ground Transportation Coordinator

Location: Sydney


Job Description:

  • Manage and supervise a team of crew members, including, rostering, job assignment
    and performance management
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and provide professional advice on relevant
    security activities
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure smooth operational flow of
    goods, from receiving to storage to dispatch
  • Coordinate with the Operation Manager for both international and domestic activities
  • Oversee the transportation of goods, including route planning, vehicle allocation, and
    manpower allocation
  • Supervise and guarantee the good state of both mechanical and security status of the
    national Fleet
  • Implement and maintain systems and processes to optimize ground operations, and
    ensure delivery meets or exceeds expectations
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the performance of ground operations and
    transportation processes
  • Identify and resolve operational issues, such as delays, equipment malfunctions, and
    customer complaints
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout all
    transportation and ground transportation
  • Based on achievement of KPIs candidate will have the opportunity to grow
    professionally inside the Company

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education or above
  • Previous experience in managing ground operations, transportation, or logistics in a
    fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage and
    motivate a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate and
    collaborate with various internal teams
  • Good command of both spoken and written English
  • Proficiency in computer of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Occasional business trips required in other locations in Australia
  • Previous experience or certificates in security or possess of personal security license
    will be considered as a plus
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred
