Whom we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and characteristics:
- Sales and business development experience within the Freight Forwarding Industry in Australia.
- Established networks or relationships with buyers and decision makers in the industry
- Exceptional sales ability, with a proven track record and demonstrated success in new business development
- Disciplined, responsible and structured to thrive in an autonomous position
- Ambitious, driven, and a ‘go getter’
- Comfortable working towards set KPIs and sales targets
- Articulate, excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fast learner, team player, with a positive attitude
- Sound Computer knowledge
- MUST have own vehicle and valid driver’s license
- MUST be eligible to work in Australia
Duties
- Research and obtain new leads to build a pipeline of new business prospects
- Approach potential customers develop new business
- Present product range and pricing to decision makers
- Sign-up and on-board new customers
- Achieve agreed sales targets
- Maintain high levels of customer retention
- Work closely with other business units to sell complete Forwarding solutions
